About Secaucus

Secaucus is a town in Hudson County known for its marshlands. At the center of those marshlands is the Meadowlands, which features the heart of Secaucus tourism. This location features the Meadowlands Sports Complex. This massive complex features the famous tri-state area football mecca Metlife stadium, which is home to NFL teams the New York Jets and New York Giants and also hosted Super Bowl 49. When it is not hosting these football games it is hosting concerts, sports entertainment events, and other major events.

Adjacent to this complex is the American Dream Meadowlands Retail Center. Projected to open in late 2017, this mall will be home to many retail shopping locations, IMAX movie theater, indoor water park, restaurants, and even an indoor Ski Slope. The complex wide range of activities will be topped of by the “Pepsi Globe”, a 287ft Ferries wheel. Once completed, this complex will have a floor area of about 4.8 million square feet. The town is also home to the major transportation hub in Secaucus Junction. This allows trains to travel to souther New Jersey up to Penn Station in Manhattan, allowing for a quick ride to the city.
